Our Cover and the Middle East Conflict - Read More
We can cover most types of medical conditions including most heart conditions, mental health conditions, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, COPD and dementia. Our single trip policies don’t have any age limit, and we can cover your travelling companions on the same policy, so you can all be insured together.
We cover you for up to £15 million in emergency medical fees abroad as well as providing cover for up to £25,000 per person, per trip (depending on the cover level and options you choose), if you need to cancel or cut your trip short. We offer optional cover for cruises, golf holidays and winter sports.
Whatever type of holiday you're planning to go on whether it's a family holiday somewhere exciting, a quick city break or even just a relaxing trip away by yourself - travel insurance is essential and with Cedar Tree Insurance we offer a range of policies independently rated 3, 4, and 5-star by Defaqto to meet most needs.
Once you've declared your pre-existing medical conditions on your policy, you'll be covered if you need to cancel or cut short your trip due to a change in health leaving you unable to travel. You'll also be covered if you need emergency medical treatment while abroad, including repatriation to land from a cruise ship, and back to the UK where medically necessary.
While travelling for minor illness, you'll have access to an English Speaking Teledoctor service (both video call and phone call) who can issue you prescriptions remotely in most countries. For more major illness, you'll also have access to our 24/7 medical emergency assistance line.
Cover for most pre-existing medical conditions
Cover while you are awaiting surgery
No cover while you're under investigation or awaiting a diagnosis
We offer an easy online screening to ensure you get the right cover for you
Unexpected illness or injury abroad can be stressful and expensive. Our travel insurance medical cover helps protect you from unforeseen medical costs, giving you access to emergency treatment, hospital care, and medical assistance when you need it most.
We cover most pre-existing medical conditions, even for older travellers or those with complex health needs. From diabetes to heart conditions and high blood pressure, we’re here to provide travel reassurance.
Even if you have a GHIC, this only covers limited state healthcare and won’t pay for any private treatment or getting you back home. That's where we step in.
