Any policy sold by Cedar Tree includes cover for any medical claim due to Coronavirus* while travelling. We include cover for cancellation due to you falling ill with Coronavirus* and being unable to travel or being required to self isolate, subject to medical certification or an official test result. We additionally include cover for curtailment due to the death of a close relative due to Coronavirus*
Any new policy will not cover any cancellation due to government restriction on travel or the need to quarantine either at your destination or on return home due to Coronavirus* or any future pandemic.
Your policy will be valid for travel to the countries shown on your certificate of insurance. If you travel to a country where the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) or other regulatory authority advise against travel your cover may be reduced, click here for more information.

We also cover you for all the usual standard policy benefits including the loss or theft of your baggage, emergency medical fees both abroad and within the UK. We also cover you if your baggage is delayed for some reason, paying you at least £50 per 12 hours of delay, as well as personal injury and liability cover and protection should your end-supplier or airline fail.
