Any policy sold by Cedar Tree includes cover for any medical claim due to Coronavirus* while travelling so long as you are travelling to an area where no FCO advice against travel exists. We include cover for cancellation due to you falling ill with Coronavirus* and being unable to travel or being required to self isolate, subject to medical certification or an official test result. We additionally include cover for curtailment due to the death of a close relative due to Coronavirus*
Any new** policy will not cover any cancellation due to government restriction on travel due to Coronavirus* or any future pandemic (for example the FCO advising against all travel or all but essential travel to your destination or your flights being cancelled).
Any policy sold by Cedar Tree will (where normally included in your chosen cover level) continue to benefit from all other cover including but not limited to Emergency Medical Costs, Scheduled Airline and End Supplier Failure, Baggage including Gadget and Passports, Personal Accident and Liability.

** If your policy was purchased prior to the 13th March 2020 this restriction does not apply. Additionally if you have renewed an Annual Multi-Trip policy without a break in cover then this restriction will not apply to any trip originally booked prior to the 13th March.

Please note that unless you join our Loyalty Club the last e-mail we will send you is on the expiry date of your policy, you will not receive further e-mails from us after this date unless you interact with us in some way (contact our support desk, make a claim, join the Cedar Tree Club, purchase a policy etc). This process is automated and you do not need to contact us to unsubscribe.
If you would like to talk to us about these e-mails or excercise any of your rights under GDPR, please send a request to firstname.lastname@example.org. A specialist team are available to deal with these requests, due to the regulatory requirements to store certain data for a period of time after the expiry of your policy.
