For example, if your excess with the car rental company was €750, and you damaged your rental vehicle, you would pay the rental company €750, and they would pay the remaining cost of the claim. You would then claim back the €750 you paid, from Cedar Tree. If you had alternatively taken the car rental company cover your excess would have been reduced to €0 saving you the hassle of paying and reclaiming.

So far so good: Policy was easy to purchase, has cover that we need and a competitive price. Also when there was a slight issue with the information I received very good customer service via the online chat and the problem was rectified promptly. I feel that a 5* review can only be given if a claim is necessary and this is dealt with appropriately but hopefully this won't be necessary for me!
